Reading Levels Correlation Chart

Reading levels are subjective. This chart is provided for general comparison only.
- Follett Library Resources reading levels are based on the actual difficulty of the words, grammar, sentence structure, etc., used in a book. A reading level of 1.3 means that a student in the third month of the first grade should be able to read the book without much difficulty.
- Guided Reading levels are from the works of Irene C. Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell.
- DRA levels are from the Developmental Reading Assessment Resource Guide by Joetta Beaver.
- Lexile measures are from the Lexile Framework for Reading developed by MetaMetrics, Inc.
- ATOS levels are from Renaissance Learning, Inc.
