Air Force Assocation Educator Grant Program

The Educator Grant program is designed to promote aerospace education activities in classrooms from kindergarten through twelfth grades. The program encourages the development of innovative aerospace activities within the prescribed curriculum. The program also encourages establishing an active relationship between the school and the local Air Force Association organization.

NASA Spacelink Enrichment Program for Grades 5-8

NASA specialists train core educators as a team to conduct interdisciplinary aerospace activities in school districts. Major activities include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on classroom activities that supplement the ongoing curriculum.
Eligibility: Teachers of middle school students from rural and urban communities.

Initiative to Develop Education through Astronomy and Space Science

The Initiative to Develop Education through Astronomy and Space Science (IDEAS), administered by the Space Telescope Science Institute on behalf of NASA Office of Space Science, provides start-up funding for creative education and public outreach projects that feature collaboration between astronomers/space scientists and education professionals. The goals of the IDEAS program are to enhance science, mathematics and/or technology education in the United States for K-14 students and the general public by promoting partnerships between scientists and educators; and to cultivate innovation and creativity in education using astronomy/space science as the underlying concept. Partnerships of professional astronomers/space scientists and professional K-14 educators throughout the United States are eligible to apply.
